MARANA- The Town of Marana joins nearly two dozen Arizona communities in supporting the Central Arizona Project’s mission of protecting the Colorado River water supply.

Marana is committed to sustainable water management and the responsible use of this precious resource. As a CAP partner, the Town will continue working with regional communities to ensure a reliable water supply for today and for future generations.

Marana Mayor Jon Post announced the Town’s support in this effort by joining the Coalition to Protect Arizona’s Lifeline.

“Marana is a town built on resilience, innovation, and a deep-rooted commitment to community. We’re fortunate to live in a region full of promise, but we also understand the serious challenges ahead, particularly when it comes to our water resources,” said Mayor Post. “For decades, we’ve relied on the Colorado River and the delivery system that brings that water to us—the Central Arizona Project. C-A-P has been vital to Marana’s growth and prosperity. Now, we have a duty to help protect it.”

The Town of Marana has long been at the forefront of water management in the region and will continue to innovate and advocate for this vital resource.
