Eligibility
  •  High School Diploma/G.E.D./Equivalent
  •  U.S. Citizen
  •  21 Years old or older by academy graduation
  • Great Character
  •  No felony convictions
  •  Valid Driver’s License
  •  Must be willing to work shift work (nights, weekends, holidays)
  • No pattern of drug abuse
  • No unlawful use of marijuana within the last 6 months
  • No unlawful use of a narcotic or dangerous drug within the past seven (7) years
  • Not have been dishonorably discharged from US Armed Forces

 

Benefits
  • Starting pay for police officer: $31.5885/Hour ($65,704.08/year)
  • $1,500 annual uniform allowance (paid bi-annually)

A recruit hiring process is now open and will close on August 3rd, 2026. There will be a new applicant orientation night on July 21st, 2026 from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM at our main station located at 11555 W. Civic Center Dr. BLDG D Marana, AZ 85653.
