High School Diploma/G.E.D./Equivalent
U.S. Citizen
21 Years old or older by academy graduation
Great Character
No felony convictions
Valid Driver’s License
Must be willing to work shift work (nights, weekends, holidays)
No pattern of drug abuse
No unlawful use of marijuana within the last 6 months
No unlawful use of a narcotic or dangerous drug within the past seven (7) years
Not have been dishonorably discharged from US Armed Forces

Benefits

Starting pay for police officer: $30.0843/Hour ($62,575.42/year)
$1,500 annual uniform allowance (paid bi-annually)
Shift differential pay between 6PM and 6AM
12 paid holidays per year
