Closure of Twin Peaks Road at Rattlesnake Pass May 23 – Aug 3

Plan for the full closure of Twin Peaks Road between White Stallion Ranch Road and Silverbell Road to the north side of Twin Peaks Road/Silverbell Road intersection beginning May 23.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Detour Change for Twin Peaks Rattlesnake Pass Project

Hunter Contracting will be switching traffic from the existing detour road located on Twin Peaks Road, adjacent to the Saguaro Bloom subdivision, and onto the northern lanes of new roadway on March 19th, 2025.

Dove Mountain Blvd and Moore Road Intersection Improvement Project

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the Town of Marana, is reconstructing Dove Mountain Boulevard at the Moore Road intersection. The project shutdown started on April 1, 2025, and it is expected to restart and be completed in fall 2025.

Tangerine Road Phase 2A Traffic Shift

Borderland Construction will shift traffic to the new Eastbound lanes from the east end of the project limits to the new temporary east entrance to the Maverik.

Tangerine Road Phase 2A Widening

Borderland Construction will begin paving new eastbound lanes from the Maverik’s east entrance to the east end of the project. Expect minor delays. Please do not follow asphalt trucks going into the work zone and be aware of them leaving the work zone.

KE&G Construction will reestablish drainage basins and place concrete structures near Cortaro Farms Road and Willow View Drive and on Sandy Desert Trail from Monday, April 14, 2025, through Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Tangerine Road and Mandarina Boulevard lane shift

Starting Monday, June 2, 2025, traffic from the Maverik’s east entrance to the railroad tracks will be directed to the new eastbound pavement lanes. Please be advised that road work will start on the north side of Tangerine Road and the speed limit will remain 25 mph.

Tangerine Road Phase 2A Left Turns

Starting Monday, April 28, left turns will temporarily not be allowed at the intersection of Tangerine Road and Mandarina Boulevard while the contractor installs drainage facilities between Mandarina Blvd and the railroad tracks.

REVISED: Tangerine Road Phase 2A Eastbound Pavement Lanes Open

Starting Tuesday, June 3, 2025, eastbound traffic from the railroad tracks to the Maverik’s east entrance will be in the eastbound pavement lanes. Westbound traffic will remain on the existing pavement.

REVISED: Wentz Road & Sagebrush Road Sewer Line Installation

Borderland Construction will be installing a new sewer line and performing road restoration at the intersection of W Sagebrush Road and N Wentz Road beginning Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, through Monday, June 23, 2025. This intersection will be closed 24 hours a day during this time.
