UPDATE: Sanders Road Sewer Line Installation

UPDATE: Borderland will be installing a new sewer line at the intersection of West Marana Road and North Sanders Road heading South beginning December 8, 2025, through April 3, 2026.

North Marana Interceptor Phase 2

Beginning Monday, February 16, 2026, and continuing through the end of April 2026, Sanders Road between Grier Road and Gini Lane will be closed to traffic. This closure, adding to the current closure of Sanders Road from Marana Road to Grier Road, is needed to accommodate the Town’s ongoing North Marana Sewer Interceptor project being completed by Borderland Construction.

Tangerine Squeeze: Eastbound I-10 Off-Ramp Closure

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan for a temporary closure of the eastbound off-ramp of Interstate 10 at Tangerine Road. The closure begins on Monday, April 20, 2026 through Friday, May 1, 2026. Drivers should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.

Tangerine Road I-10 Eastbound On/Off-Ramp Intersection Improvements

Starting Monday, March 30th, Borderland Construction will begin demolition work and median improvements at the eastbound on- and off-ramp intersection at Interstate 10, near the QuikTrip gas station.

POSTPONED: North Silverbell Road and West Twin Peaks Road– Chip Seal

Motorists are advised that alternating lane closures will be in place at the North Silverbell Road and West Twin Peaks Road intersection on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Announcement : This work has been postponed. A date for the work has not been identified as this time. Another traffic alert will be sent out once work has been rescheduled.

Intersection northbound on Saguaro Peaks Boulevard and Vera Drive

Sunland Asphalt is removing and replacing asphalt and concrete northbound on Saguaro Peaks Boulevard and Vera Drive. Sunland will be starting work on April 20th through May 5, 2026. Working hours will start at 6 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.

Saguaro Peaks Boulevard & Saguaro Brook Trail

Sunland Asphalt is removing and replacing asphalt and concrete at the intersections of Saguaro Peaks Boulevard and Saguaro Brook Trail. Work will begin on April 20th through May 5th. Work hours will start at 6am and end at 5pm.

Tangerine Road I-10 Eastbound Off-Ramp Temporary Closure

Starting Monday, April 20 through Friday, May 1, 2026, the eastbound I-10 exit at Tangerine Road (Exit 240) will be closed for two weeks.

Borderland Construction will be completing improvements to the I-10 eastbound off-ramp and frontage road intersection.

REVISED Sanders Road: Gini Lane to Barnett Road Closure

Currently, and continuing through mid-June, Sanders Road between Barnett Farms Drive and Clark Farms Boulevard and Barnett Road between Sanders Road and CMID Well 12 will all be closed to traffic. This closure is associated with the Town’s ongoing North Marana Sewer Interceptor project being constructed by Borderland Construction.
