Water Rates Increase

The Town of Marana invites community members to participate in an upcoming public process to discuss proposed rate changes for Marana Water customers.

The proposed rate adjustments are:

  • Water: 10.5% per year
  • Water Reclamation (Wastewater): 2.5% per year

The last rate adjustment began in 2020 and concluded in 2024. No rate increase was assessed in 2025.

The proposed increase is necessary to maintain the safety and reliability of Marana Water and Water Reclamation systems. It will cover rising operational costs and address inflation impacts. The adjustments will also help fund maintenance, rehabilitation, and continued investment in safety measures to ensure high-quality drinking water and efficient wastewater services.
