Hunter Contracting Co., on behalf of Marana Water, will excavate approximately 64 square feet of unsuitable material to a depth of up to 3 feet in the area of visible sinking on North Sandario Road, just south of the intersection of North Sandario Road and West Grier Road.
Work is scheduled to begin Thursday, May 21, at 7:00 p.m., with all traffic control removed from the roadway by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22. Traffic control will be re-established on Friday, May 22, at 9:00 a.m. to complete pavement restoration. All work is expected to be completed by 1:00 p.m. on May 22, 2026.
Motorists should expect lane closures with flaggers and minimal traffic delays.
