Tangerine Road I-10 Westbound Off-Ramp Improvements

Borderland Construction will begin improvements to the Tangerine Road and I-10 westbound off-ramp area. These improvements are part of the Town’s Tangerine Road and Interchange Improvements projects, which will encompass a sequence of planned changes.  

Beginning Monday, September 22, 2025, through Friday, January 9, 2026, Borderland Construction personnel will install traffic control devices and start construction for the project. Expect minor delays during this time, please adjust schedules accordingly. Motorists are advised to use Avra Valley Road (Exit 242) as an alternate exit to bypass this area.

Planned improvements include extending the right-turned lane storage for westbound off-ramp traffic to Tangerine Road (Exit 240), milling and repaving, and drainage improvements. These improvements are interim changes, as the long-term plan is to reconstruct the entire Tangerine Road interchange.

For your safety and that of the contractor's personnel, please comply with traffic control devices, flagging personnel, and/or detour signs.
