The Marana Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on August 26, 2026 at or after 6:00 p.m. at the Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex located at 11555 W. Civic Center Drive, Marana, Arizona, to consider making a recommendation to the Town Council to amend the Marana Land Development Code.
The proposed amendments would modify Chapter 17-4 (Zoning) of the Land Development Code, by revising Section 17-4-16 (Legacy zones) to clarify when a rezoning is required in Zones A through E due to a change in use and making conforming changes to Sections 17-4-17 (Zone A - small lot zone) and 17-4-18 (Zone B - medium lot zone). The proposed amendments would also add new definitions in Section 17-1-6 (Definitions) for “Enterprise” and “Enterprise density”.
