Parks and Recreation team accepting proclamation 2026

MARANA, AZ- The Town of Marana has proclaimed July as Parks and Recreation Month and encourages residents to celebrate the important role parks, recreation programs, and public spaces play in enhancing quality of life throughout the community.

Marana is committed to providing safe, accessible, and welcoming parks and recreation opportunities that help make the community a great place to live, play, and connect.

The National Recreation and Park Association recognizes July as Parks and Recreation Month to honor the dedicated professionals, volunteers, and community partners who help build stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities.

The Town extends its gratitude to the parks and recreation staff, volunteers, and partners who work year-round to maintain and improve Marana’s parks, trails, facilities, and programs for residents of all ages and abilities.
