MARANA- The Town of Marana proudly proclaims May 17–23, 2026, as National Public Works Week.

This year marks the 66th Annual National Public Works Week. The 2026 theme, “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community,” highlights the essential role public works professionals play in enhancing quality of life for residents every day.

Mayor Jon Post encourages residents and civic organizations to recognize the dedicated public works staff who work daily to provide five-star service to the community.

The Town’s Public Works Department includes six divisions:

  • Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
  • Airport
  • Facilities
  • Fleet
  • Streets
  • Traffic

The Town thanks all Public Works employees for the integral role they play in supporting the health, safety, and daily operations of the community.
