Recognize Excellence in Marana: Community Award Nominations Now Open

MARANA- The Town of Marana is excited to announce that nominations are now being accepted for its annual Community Awards, honoring businesses, community members and our youth whose service is making a difference in our town.

Every year, award recipients are recognized at the State of the Town luncheon, which is scheduled to be held on April 2, 2026 at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain. 

Submissions will be accepted through February 28, 2026.

About the Awards

Youth Legacy Award

The Marana Town Council created the Youth Legacy Award to recognize young people who make Marana a better place for everyone. Recipients demonstrate service to others through acts supporting:

• Heart: promoting a healthy and supportive environment for youth
• Body: fulfilling essential needs such as food, shelter, and safety
• Mind: creating educational opportunities that enrich young minds

Branding Iron Awards

Marana Branding Irons honor those who have made a meaningful “mark” on the community. Two awards will be presented:

• Individual Category: an individual resident or non-resident who works in Marana
• Organization Category: civic groups, non-profits, and private businesses

Nomination Guidelines:

The person submitting a nomination may not nominate himself or herself. Past award recipients are not eligible. Submissions for all awards may be made in memoriam.
