Public invited to help name new snake sculpture

VOTING IS NOW OPEN - The Town of Marana has installed a new public art sculpture on Rattlesnake Pass as part of the final phase of a major roadway improvement project, and we need your help to name it! 

 

The voting will close at the end of Friday, September 4. Select your favorite from the list of names generated by Town of Marana employees and narrowed down by the Marana Public Art Review Committee. The winning name will appear on a plaque next to the sculpture, to be unveiled later in September. 

 

The sculpture, modeled after a female diamondback rattlesnake, was conceptualized by the Planning Center and designed and fabricated by Cemrock.
