Marana Police Investigating Possible Road Rage Shooting Near Ina Road and I-10
On October 1, 2026, at approximately 3:28 p.m., Marana Police Department officers responded to the area of Ina Road and the I-10 Frontage Road following reports of possible gunshots and a separate report of a possible road rage incident.
Initial information indicated that a caller heard what sounded like gunshots and subsequently observed an individual fall to the ground.
Upon arrival, officers detained a suspect. One victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The victim was last reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Preliminary information indicates this incident may have stemmed from a road rage incident. At this time, no charges have been filed, as the investigation remains ongoing.
There is no ongoing threat to the public.
The Marana Police Department is actively investigating this incident and will release additional information as it becomes available.
