This update provides a snapshot of private development activity currently under review or in process with the Town of Marana. Projects listed are at various stages of planning, review, or permitting. Inclusion does not indicate final approval, construction start, or project completion. Development proposals may change or may not move forward based on market conditions, financing, or regulatory review. Projects are updated continually. Marana is currently working with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on design plans for the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT), which is set to be completed by the end of 2026. Marana was awarded $800,000 in funding through the Federal Contract Tower (FCT) Grant Program to support the design of the ATCT. After the design of the tower is completed, Marana will start construction. The tower will help enhance the safety and efficiency of airport operations while supporting the airport’s continued growth.
The following projects are currently in administrative, planning, or engineering review. This phase focuses on evaluating compliance with zoning, site design, infrastructure, and building standards.
The following projects have active permits and visible site or building construction activity. Construction schedules are determined by property owners and contractors.
