Honoring Retiring Officer Hayden Mosher and K-9 Remy

MARANA- The Town of Marana is proud to recognize Officer Hayden Mosher for more than 20 years of dedicated service to the community.

Officer Mosher will retire on June 5, 2026, after 21 years with the Marana Police Department.

Throughout his distinguished career, Officer Mosher served in numerous critical roles, including Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, K-9 Handler, K-9 Trainer, and Drone Pilot. His commitment to public safety and professional excellence has had a lasting impact on the department and the community he served.

In 2009, Officer Mosher became a K-9 handler and went on to serve alongside three police service dogs. He participated in thousands of K-9 deployments and dedicated countless hours to training and developing successful K-9 teams.

Officer Mosher has received numerous awards and commendations, including the Marana Police Department Life Saving Award, the Distinguished Service Award, and two Unit Citation Awards.

Officer Mosher's loyal K-9 partner, Remy, will also retire alongside his handler this week.

The Town of Marana extends its sincere gratitude to Officer Mosher and Remy for their outstanding service to the community and their many contributions to the Marana Police Department. We congratulate them both on their well-earned retirement!
