Free Outdoor Movie Series Kicks Off New Season #SplashSavvy Style

Movies in Marana at Camping Under the Stars 2026
MARANA- Marana Parks & Recreation's annual free outdoor movie series returns on Saturday, May 16, 2026 with Disney’s Teen Beach Movie at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park on the basketball court next to the splash pad. It's #SplashSavvy Night and the Marana Lifeguard team will be on site handing out information about our award-winning Drowning Prevention Awareness Campaign and kicking off the summer pool season.
 
The splash pad will also stay open after 7PM for the duration of the movie. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Dogs are welcome in designated areas as long as they are leashed, but pets are not allowed inside the Splash Pad. Food vendors on site will be the Continental Ranch Little League Snack Bar and Colonel Mustard’s Hot Dogs & Mr. Ice Guy. 
 
Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation at all Marana Events in support of the Marana Food Bank.

  • September 19 – Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Adventure Night) - Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex courtyard
  • October 17 – Hocus Pocus at Marana Fall Festival
Note About the Weather
Movies will be shown, weather permitting. If cancellation occurs due to inclement weather, that particular movie night will not be rescheduled. We will notify the public of cancellations through our social media channels.
