April is Water Awareness Month in Arizona! Join Marana and other communities in recognizing the importance of our precious water. From the state’s water supply to the tap in your own home, learning more about our water resources helps save more water today and tomorrow.

Take practical steps to save water in your home. Visit our Conservation webpage for our Rebate Program, EyeOnWater-leak alerts, plant watering guidelines and more.

Help reduce water waste:

  • Give your lawn and water bill a break, skip overseeding your lawn
  •  Water plants early in the morning or early evening to minimize evaporation
  • Limit use of ornamental fountains and filling of pools
  • Use a broom instead of the hose to clean patios and other hard surfaces
  • Check your irrigation for leaks and don’t let water run down the street
