MARANA- The Marana Police Department is now accepting applications for its upcoming Citizens Police Academy, an educational program designed to give community members an inside look at its operations through hands-on experiences.

The next session runs from February 18, 2026, through May 13, 2026. Classes will be held Wednesdays from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the Marana Police Department Community Room, located at 11555 W. Civic Center Drive, Marana, AZ 85653.

Participants will engage with Marana Police personnel and learn about a variety of topics, including criminal investigations, patrol operations, motor units, firearms training, the K-9 unit, and other aspects of law enforcement.

The program is designed to strengthen the relationship between the Marana Police Department and the community by promoting transparency, engagement, and understanding.

Space is limited, and those interested are encouraged to apply early.
