ADOT: Eastbound I-10 lane restrictions beginning January 29

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is advising drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions and business access changes on Interstate 10 as crews continue work on the I-10 Ina to Ruthrauff Roads Widening project.

According to ADOT, drivers can expect the following restrictions:

  • Eastbound I-10 from Orange Grove to Ruthrauff roads will be reduced to one lane nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, and Friday, Jan. 30.
  • Frontage road business access will be relocated to the eastbound Sunset Road off-ramp at 5 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31. The temporary business access ramp between Sunset and Ruthrauff roads will close 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30.

Drivers should expect delays, use caution around construction crews and obey all posted speed limits as well as traffic control devices.
