A Star-Spangled Night in Marana to Mark America’s 250
Published on June 03, 2026
MARANA- Celebrate America’s 250th birthday at the Town of Marana’s largest Signature Event, the Star-Spangled Spectacular at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park.
The free event will take place from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with the fireworks show, sponsored by Watson Chevrolet set to begin at 9 p.m.
The community can expect an even bigger celebration this year as Marana joins communities across the country in commemorating this historic milestone in our nation’s history.
To help guests stay safe during the summer heat, the Town is adding UA Cancer Institute sunscreen stations, along with cooling stations and free water throughout the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and hydrate ahead of time.
Due to the combination of extreme heat, fireworks, and large crowds, the Town does not recommend bringing pets. If residents choose to bring their dog, please bring extra water and consider protective footwear to prevent burns from hot surfaces.
Free attractions at the event include live musical performances by ZNORA, the Mark Miller Band, and new this year, the Manhattan Dolls. The event will also feature a splash pad and playground, gaming truck, community mural, inflatables, water games, cornhole and lawn games, dozens of food trucks, a vendor market, and more.
Glass containers, personal fireworks, sparklers, and barbecuing are prohibited during the event.
Limited accessible parking will be available onsite beginning at 4 p.m. on the day of the event for vehicles displaying valid handicap plates or placards only. Courtesy ADA-accessible shuttle service will also be available at each designated parking lot.
The Town of Marana will provide complimentary shuttle service throughout the event from two designated parking areas: Coyote Trail Elementary School and Marana Vista Academy. Guests planning to use the 15-passenger shuttles are encouraged to park at either location.
