MARANA- Marana Parks and Recreation Programmer Tammy Burchett is retiring after more than two decades of dedicated service to the Town of Marana.
Over her 24-year career, Tammy has made a lasting impact on countless youth, seniors, colleagues, and community members. She founded the Senior Program’s Crafting for a Cause initiative, which has raised thousands of dollars for local organizations. She has also contributed to several award-winning programs.
In addition, Tammy has played a key role in many of Marana’s most cherished community events, including Founders’ Day and Fall Festival, where she helped bring festivities to life with her creativity and décor.
Mayor Post and the Town Council will honor Tammy with a proclamation recognizing her service during the October 7, 2025, council meeting.
The Town of Marana extends its gratitude to Tammy for her extraordinary service and lasting contributions, and wishes her the very best in her future endeavors.
