MARANA- The Town of Marana invites community members to participate in an upcoming public meeting to discuss proposed rate changes for Marana Water customers.

The proposed increase is necessary to maintain the safety and reliability of Marana Water and Water Reclamation systems. It will cover rising operational costs and address inflation impacts. The adjustments will also help fund maintenance, rehabilitation, infrastructure improvements, and continued investment in safety measures to ensure high-quality drinking water and efficient wastewater services.

Two public meeting options will be held to present information and gather feedback:

  • Thursday, November 13, 2025 | 5–6 p.m.
Marana Police Community Room, Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex
11555 W. Civic Center Drive, Marana, AZ 85653
  • Wednesday, November 19, 2025 | 5–6 p.m.
    Rattlesnake Ridge Elementary School
8500 N. Continental Reserve Loop, Tucson, AZ 85743

The proposed rate adjustments are:

  • Water: 10.5% per year
  • Water Reclamation (Wastewater): 2.5% per year

The last rate adjustment began in 2020 and concluded in Fiscal Year 2024. No rate increase was assessed in the most recent fiscal year.

Residents are encouraged to attend one of the public hearings to learn more about the proposal.
