Marana Police Department Announces Arrest in October Armed Robbery Case
Marana, AZ – On October 19, 2025, the Marana Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a local convenience store. The suspect reportedly brandished a firearm, demanded money from the clerk, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers immediately began an investigation, collecting evidence, reviewing surveillance footage, and interviewing witnesses. An attempt-to-identify bulletin was distributed to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
With assistance from detectives with the Scottsdale Police Department, Yuma Police Department, and Buckeye Police Department, the suspect was identified as Euphus Williams. Investigators also discovered a possible connection to a gray Pontiac G6. Surveillance video confirmed a vehicle matching that description arriving at the store around the time of the robbery.
A records check revealed the vehicle was registered to an individual in West Virginia with close ties to Williams. Detectives further learned that Williams had an active felony warrant issued by the State of Indiana.
Marana Police Department Detectives coordinated with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department— the issuing agency— to gather additional case information. They also partnered closely with the Morgantown Police Department, Weirton Police Department, and the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department in West Virginia to obtain intelligence on Williams’ activities and potential location.
Through the collaborative efforts of these agencies, Williams was located and safely taken into custody on November 19, 2025, by the Chatham County Police Department in Savannah, Georgia. He is currently being held at the Chatham County Sheriff’s Detention Facility, awaiting extradition.
The Marana Police Department extends its appreciation to the Arizona Department of Public Safety; Scottsdale Police Department; Yuma Police Department; Buckeye Police Department; Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department; Morgantown Police Department; Weirton Police Department; Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department; and the Chatham County Police Department for their exceptional teamwork and cooperation. This arrest highlights the strength of interagency collaboration and the shared commitment of law enforcement partners across multiple states to ensure community safety.
