Residential and commercial growth in Marana is booming, reflecting the exponential population growth we’ve seen over the last decade.
Commercial and apartment development in particular remains strong on the south side of the community, especially on the Silverbell Corridor. At Marana Center, commercial activity has really picked up, as well as Twin Peaks corridor in Central Marana.
North Marana is where most of the constant pressure exists for growth. Utilities have now been expanded to the east side of Interstate 10, which will allow for development in that area. Interest has already increased for both residential and commercial development there as well.
