Eligibility
  •  High School Diploma/G.E.D./Equivalent
  •  U.S. Citizen
  •  21 Years old or older by academy graduation

Benefits
  • Starting pay for police officer: $30.0843/Hour ($62,575.42/year)

There is currently a continuous hiring process open to qualified lateral police officer applicants as of 8/25/25. 

The Police Officer Recruit process will be open from 10/3/25 midnight and will close on 10/31/25 at 5PM. MPD will host an informational orientation session on 10/28/25 from 5:30PM - 7:00PM in the Community Room of our Headquarters located at 11555 W. Civic Center Dr. Building D. Marana, AZ 85653.
