CDBG Public Hearing Meeting (option 2)

Notice is hereby given that two public hearings will be held to present a draft of the 2025 Annual Action Plan, and to provide the public with an opportunity to express their ideas and views on this proposed plan. The PY 25-26 Annual Action Plan is required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in order to receive federal funds under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The Plan provides an assessment of the community needs, goals, and priorities in the areas of affordable housing and public services, designed to improve the quality of life for low-and moderate-income Marana residents.

Both sessions will cover the same information.

The first public hearing will take place at 5:30 p.m. on March 25, 2025 at the Police Department Community Room located at 11555 W. Civic Center Drive.

The second hearing will take place at 12:00 p.m. on April 1, 2025 at the Wheeler Taft Abbett Library located at 7800 N. Schisler Drive. Both locations are accessible for persons with disabilities.

The draft 2025 Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment beginning March 17th through April 17th, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Town Staff encourages public agencies, other interested parties, and all residents, including minorities, non-English speaking persons, and persons with disabilities, to comment.
