Town of Marana Utilities Board Vacancy

The Town of Marana is seeking qualified applicants to fill one vacant Council-appointed resident/utility customer position on the Town of Marana Utilities Board for a four-year term.

The Utilities Board is a seven-member advisory body that makes recommendations regarding the direction of the Town of Marana Water Department, including the use of a one-megawatt allocation of hydropower from the Parker-Davis Dam for municipal needs. The Board consists of the Town’s Water Director or designated Water Department employee, three Council-appointed members who are either Town residents or utility customers of the Town, two Town employees appointed by the Town Manager, and the Town’s Finance Director or designated Finance Department employee. The Utilities Board meets at the Marana Municipal Complex at least twice a year.

To be eligible to serve, applicants must either be a Marana resident or a Marana Water Department utility customer.
