The Town of Marana is seeking qualified citizen applicants for an open position on the Corrections Officer Retirement Plan (CORP) Board.
The Corrections Officer Retirement Plan (CORP) Board is a five-person local board, which includes a chairperson, two appointed citizens, and two individuals who are contributing members of the Plan.
Responsibilities of Board members include attending Board meetings, which occur according to need and, at a minimum, twice per year. Meetings are generally held in the afternoon at the Marana Police Department located at 11555 W. Civic Center Dr., Bldg. D, Marana, AZ 85653.
Board members make decisions on employee participation in the retirement system and approve retirements (normal as well as disability).
Eligible applicants must be a resident of the Town of Marana. Applicants are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Marana Town Council.
The four-year term of appointment starts July 1, 2025.
