Parks & Recreation Policies

Refunds

All refunds, unless refund not due to the fault of the customer, are subject to a 10% Administrative Fee, and online processing (convenience) fees are not refundable.

Note: Refunds can take up to 14-days to process.

Registrations

Registration Refund (Customer Requests): A refund can be issued for a withdrawal request prior to the start of the program. Refunds will not be issued after the start of the program. In lieu of a refund, a one-time transfer may be transacted in conjunction with a cancellation or withdrawal notification. When there is a transfer and there is still a balance due, participants must remit the difference to complete the registration. When there is a transfer resulting in overpayment the participant will receive a refund of the difference. A 10% administrative fee is applied for all customer-requested cancelations. Online processing (convenience) fees are non-refundable and are not included in calculating the amount of the refund.

Program Cancellation or Modification: Programs may be modified or canceled at any time by the Parks and Recreation Department. In the event of a cancellation or modification, notification will be made by phone and email and a full refund will be issued. Refunds for multi-class activities will be prorated on a per-class cancellation basis. A refund receipt will be emailed to the payer on file. Ensure your contact information is accurate to receive these notifications.

Program Transfers: If a transfer is requested the participant will receive a onetime transfer to another program. If a withdraw is requested the Registration Refund (Customer Requests) will apply.

Reservations

Reservations: Refund requests must be submitted in writing at least four days in advance of reservation date. Any changes to a reservation must be submitted in writing at least three (3) days before the first day of rental.

Rental Terms: Facility reservations must be made no later than three (3) days before scheduled date. Park facilities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis or can be reserved for a fee. A facility is not considered reserved until payment is collected and a receipt and permit issued. Fees for facility use are non-refundable in the event of non-use, rain or shorter duration. Rental time starts and ends at time listed on permit. Setup and cleanup must be completed within the times listed on the permit.
