Ina Road traffic shift west of Interstate 10 set for Monday, Aug. 13

Motorists should expect a new traffic configuration on Ina Road between Interstate 10 and Starcommerce Way starting Monday, Aug. 13.

Traffic on westbound Ina Road is set to shift to the north side of the new divided roadway.  Eastbound traffic will remain on the south side.

The shift is intended to improve access to businesses along that section of Ina Road.

The overall I-10/Ina Road traffic interchange is currently on schedule. Portions of the interchange are scheduled to begin opening in the spring of 2019.

Traffic Alert: Construction in front of 5800 W. Arizona Pavilions Drive

Construction on Arizona Pavilions Drive is scheduled to take place on April 23, 2018, with a lane closure on the roadway beginning at 7:00 a.m. and running until 6:00 p.m.

Tucson Asphalt will remove and replace an asphalt section of the road in front of 5800 West Arizona Pavilions Drive. Tucson Asphalt will place asphalt in sections by lane, alternating lanes adjusted to cure time (cooling).  Work will be completed on April 25, 2018, along with traffic control.

Traffic Update: Twin Peaks Road crack seal work

As part of the Town of Marana’s Pavement Preservation Program, crack seal work will begin on Twin Peaks Road starting on Monday, April 2 and continue through the week of April 23, 2018. The project will begin on Twin Peaks Road at Silverbell Road and continue all the way through Twin Peaks Road and Tangerine Road. The work will be conducted during normal business hours beginning at 7:00 a.m. Lane closures and light delays should be expected.

Union Pacific will be performing emergency repairs on Tangerine Road today February 22, 2018. The work will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Please take an alternate route. Flagman will be present to assist with traffic.

Cracker Barrel Road Restrictions Jan. 29 - Feb. 2

From Monday, January 29 through Friday, February 2, traffic movement along Cracker Barrel Road will be restricted to northbound, one way travel only from south of Hospitality Drive to Arizona Pavilions Drive so that surface drainage improvements and pavement repairs can be completed. Traffic control devices and directional signage will be set up to guide motorists through the work zone. Business access will be maintained during construction.
