Public Art Review Committee Vacancy - open for applications

The Town of Marana is seeking applications from qualified citizens for an open position on the Town of Marana Public Art Review Committee.

The Public Art Review Committee is a seven-member advisory body that reviews design proposals according to the Marana Public Art Design Principles and designates locations for public art installations. The Committee fulfills the Town of Marana Public Art Policy through 1) identifying community beautification opportunities that will strengthen Marana’s identity, spirit, and pride, and 2) providing direction for the selection of high-quality public art.

The Committee is composed of two Local Community members and five Town Representatives, including: the Director or Deputy of Development Services, the Director or Deputy of Parks and Recreation, the Director or Deputy of Public Works, the Communication Manager, and a Town Manager appointee.

Local Community members serve four-year terms and may seek reappointment by submitting a new application upon completion of their term.
