ADOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Intermittent overnight lane and ramp closures on I-10

ADOT lane closures on I-10 for pavement life extension project

MARANA- Expect intermittent overnight lane and ramp closures over the next two weeks on east and westbound Interstate 10 between Cortaro and Avra Valley Roads.

The closures started on Monday, August 29th. They’re expected to take 10 minutes at a time while crews are striping, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The restrictions are scheduled for Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will not be working on Sunday, September 4 and Monday, September 5 in observance of Labor Day.

All lanes will be open outside of work hours. ADOT said this work is part of a pavement life extension project.

Motorist are urged to travel through the work area with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

This is an Arizona Department of Transportation project.
