MARANA- For the second year in a row, a Town of Marana aquatics program is being recognized by a national publication.

This year the Aquatics International Magazine has chosen the Marana Pool 50th Jubilee as the winner of its “Best Programming” award in the Best of Aquatics 2022 award program.

In 2021, #SplashSavvy won the “Best Community Outreach” award from Aquatics International Magazine.

According to Aquatics International, the Best of Aquatics annual award program honors aquatics programming, management, lifeguard training and more.

There will be a special awards ceremony for the winners at the Association of Aquatic Professionals Conference in February. The winners will also be showcased in the November/December 2022 issue of the Aquatics International Magazine.

The entire Town of Marana’s Aquatics Team including Aquatics Supervisor Kevin Goodrich, Recreation Programmer Allison Rock, and Maintenance Technician Jesse Stokes, will be attending the Aquatics International Conference to accept the award on behalf of the town.
