Avra Valley Bridge over the Santa Cruz River

Borderland Construction, on behalf of Town of Marana, will be starting construction on the Avra Valley bridge over the Santa Cruz River beginning Thursday April 25th, 2024, through Friday July 19th, 2024. Work hours will be 6:00 A.M to 3:30 P.M. Avra Valley Road speed over the bridge will be reduced to 25 MPH and traffic control devices will remain up 24 hours a day. There will be flaggers. Please expect delays.
For your safety and that of the contractor’s personnel, please comply with traffic control devices, flagging personnel, and/or detour signs.
Travel time through the project area may increase during construction so please adjust your schedule accordingly. Construction may restrict traffic lanes and create congestion. Taking alternate routes is suggested.
If inclement weather or other events cause delays, the work may be rescheduled without further notice.
