MARANA- Officer Kevin Trapp is retiring after 20 years of service with the Marana Police Department.
Kevin began his career in law enforcement in 1995 working with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and Tuscaloosa Police Department before returning to Arizona to become a Marana Police Officer.
Officer Trapp has served in many assignments throughout his career with MPD including Field Training Officer and High Risk Stop Instructor.
He was one of the original members of MPD’s Equestrian Unit and has received numerous awards and certificates including the Chief’s Citation of Excellence Award, Lifesaving Award, and Distinguished Service Award.
The Town issued a proclamation on August 1, 2023 recognizing Officer Trapp for his many years of service and impact he has had on the Town.
