Marana Police Officer to retire after 20 years of public service

Officer Jeffrey Rowe received the Chief’s Citation of Excellence award at the 2023 MPD Awards Ceremony

MARANA- The Town of Marana is recognizing Officer Jeffrey Rowe for his many years of service in law enforcement.

Officer Rowe is officially retiring on July 28, 2023 after a little more than 20 years on the force. He started his law enforcement career in 2003 with the Tucson Police Department before being hired on by the Marana Police Department in 2011.

Throughout his 20 years of service, Officer Rowe has become a Field Training Officer, Drug Recognition Expert and Instructor, Phlebotomy Instructor, DUI and Traffic Collision Instructor, Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus Instructor and Field Sobriety Testing Instructor. He has made a profound impact on the Town of Marana and has won several awards including the Chief’s Citation of Excellence Award.

Officer Rowe also served his country in the United States Navy in 1991. He served in the Navy for ten years.

Marana Mayor Ed Honea signed a proclamation recognizing Officer Rowe on July 26,2023. The Town encourages all citizens to congratulate Officer Rowe on his retirement!
