Marana launches 2022 drowning awareness campaign

HOW TO BE #SPLASHSAVVY

Summertime means fun by the pool, which means it’s more important than ever to practice water safety with your family.

#SplashSavvy aims to raise awareness about drowning prevention and response by helping you become the first responder at home.

How you respond to a drowning event can mean the difference between life and death for a loved one.

The #SplashSavvy campaign videos will be boosted on the Town of Marana’s social media accounts and posted on the Town of Marana #SplashSavvy website. Parks and Recreation staff will also share the videos at pool events and at public presentations.

This spring, Parks and Recreation staff toured Marana Unified School District classrooms to teach children about water safety.
