Town of Marana staff receives PISCES Award

The PISCES Awards recognizes projects funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) that showcase water quality improvements and public health protections that are being completed through the collaboration of federal government and local municipalities. The Adonis Sewer Connection Project will help alleviate a water quality concern by removing two unlined sewer lagoons from service. A lift station and force main will be constructed to convey the sewage to a Town conveyance system, where it will be treated at the Marana Water Reclamation Facility to Class A+ treated effluent standards and then recharged.

The CWSRF’s Performance and Innovation in the SRF Creating Environmental Success (PISCES) program gives national recognition to state participants for projects that support water quality, public health, sustainability, and innovation.
