ABOUT STAR-SPANGLED SPECTACULAR
The Town of Marana’s annual Star-Spangled Spectacular signature event will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park, with fireworks scheduled for 9 PM. Free attractions include the Car Show, splash pad, field games, inflatables, vendors, exhibitors, Musical Instrument Petting Zoo and Creation Station for Kids. Enjoy diverse culinary options from over 35 food vendors and buy crafts in our Vendor Market. Marana’s largest Signature Event is nestled behind the Arizona Pavilions shopping center and within the Continental Ranch neighborhood, making it the perfect event for residents to walk to or enjoy the fireworks from many vantage points.

PARKING & DROP OFF/PICK UP
HANDICAPPED PARKING AT THE PARK
PARKING AT CROSSROADS PARK IS RESERVED FOR VEHICLES WITH HANDICAPPED PLATES AND TAGS ONLY. The full parking lot located at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park will be opened to handicapped vehicles with a valid tag or plate and foot traffic at 4PM on the day of the event. Marana PD will be monitoring this parking lot for the duration of the event. There will also be a courtesy handicapped-accessible shuttle at each shuttle parking lot (see below).
EVENT PARKING & COURTESY SHUTTLES
New this year, the Town of Marana will provide two parking lots with FREE multiple 15-passenger shuttles running throughout the day. The designated lot to park at for the shuttle is Coyote Trail Elementary School (8000 N Silverbell Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743) or at the former Urgent Care on Silverbell (now owned by MUSD) at 8333 N. Silverbell Road. Road signage will help you navigate to these lots.
The shuttles going to/from Coyote Trails Elementary are the "Lime Green" line and the shuttles going to/from the Old Urgent Care are the "Pink Line". Look for the colored paper sign in the window of each shuttle to ensure you are traveling to the correct parking lot.
SHUTTLE NOTES:
The first shuttle will depart at 4:15 PM from the school and the last shuttle will depart the park at 10:45PM.
There will be a security guard stationed at each parking lot for the duration of the event.
The estimated roundtrip journey from the park to the MUSD Parking Lot with traffic delays is 17 minutes. For Coyote Trails, that trip with delays is 13 minutes.
Be aware that there could be a longer-than-normal wait time due to the excessive traffic in the area before and after the event.
There will be (1) handicapped-designated shuttle assigned to each parking lot location in addition to the other shuttles that are running.
OVERFLOW PARKING AT AMAZON
For 2023, the Town of Marana and Amazon are partnering to provide more parking for this event. The parking lot will open at 4 PM. You can access the parking lot from the traffic light entrance on INA ROAD ONLY. It will be a long walk from this parking lot down Silverbell to Crossroads Park so trying a shuttle lot may be preferred.
Note: This lot is intended for overflow parking only. Please enjoy the event at the park; not in the parking lot. This lot will be monitored by Marana PD and private security.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP ZONE
The Leman Academy of Excellence parking lot is located at 7720 N Silverbell Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743, and is the designated Pick Up/Drop Off Zone for the event. Enter the event from the North entrance of the school on N. Schisler Drive.
This is a Drop-Off/Pick-Up loop only and no parking is available to the public in this lot.
ADDITIONAL PARKING
Additional spots can be found throughout the Arizona Pavilion Commercial Center nearby.

9PM FIREWORKS
The Town of Marana’s fireworks show is always the finale of a fantastic festival day!
FIND YOUR SPOT
Crossroads Park is Marana’s largest park at 49.8 acres. There is plenty of room for you to hunker down and find the perfect picnic/viewing spot for the duration of the festivities. Pro Tip: We recommend Field 2 (where the stage is located) and either of the two youth baseball/softball fields in the Southeast corner of the park.
ZONA LIBRE (4:30 - 6:15PM)
Zona Libre Band was founded by Saxophonist Hiram Perez. For nearly 6 years, this variety band has thrilled audiences in Southern Arizona with their blend of Latin rhythms, American pop and rock music. Zona Libre's dedication to being one of the most versatile bands in Arizona has made them extremely popular with audiences of all ages.
ONESALL BAND (6:45 - 8:45PM)
OnesAll is a fun funk/rock band from Tucson, AZ. The band features a family of musicians and fuses thick funky grooves, tight vocals, and exciting rock sounds with high-energy performances.
SPLASH PAD
The “BEST OF THE NORTHWEST” Splash Pad at Crossroads Park will be open from 4-8PM during the event.

Enjoy the 40+ cars right in the middle of the festivities on the basketball courts and spilling out onto the Adult Softball field on the south end of the park. Meeting new people and connecting with old friends is what Obsessions Car Club loves most about doing events.
VENDOR MARKET
Over 25 artisan vendors, non-profits. and exhibitors will be on site selling hand-made goods and promoting their businesses. You can find the market on the practice field next to Ramada 4 (across from Field 2 where the stage is located).

Splash & Play Zone
Check out the Splash & Play Zone presented by Marana’s Sports & Wellness Team on the north end of the park by the sand volleyball courts. There will be water guns, cornhole, relays, and more!
