The Business Services team is glad to assist with establishing new service with the Marana Water department. Please call (520) 382-2570 between 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday to set up this service. The Water Department requests a 24-hour lead time for most requested services (excluding holidays and weekends).

SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT FEES

The Town of Marana charges one-time, non-refundable, connection fees for any customer who is applying for water service at an address within our water system. These fees will be applied on the first statement.

There is a $90 water administrative connection fee for all new water customer accounts.

Customers with a service address has a zip code of 85741, 85712, 85743, or 85653, and is located south of Avra Valley Road, you are a Pima County Wastewater customer. Marana Water processes the bills for Pima County Wastewater. There is a $20 sewer connection fee for these addresses. To contact Pima County Wastewater, for any reason other than establishing an account, please call (520) 740-6609.

Customers with a service address with a zip code of 85658 or 85653, and the property is located north of Avra Valley Road, are Marana Water Reclamation customers, and have a $10 sewer connection fee.

Water and sewer bills will be on one statement, which will be mailed from the Town of Marana. Only service addresses that are connected to a sewer system will receive sewer charges on the statement.

SECURITY DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

In addition to the one-time connection fees, the Town of Marana requires all customers to pay a refundable security deposit. The deposit amount depends on the size of the meter at the property, and the amounts can be found on the Rates and Fees page.

The security deposit must be paid by 5:00PM on the business day prior to service commencement date. Failure to pay the required security deposit before the due date will result in a disconnection of water service. We are able to waive the security deposit for customers that will be the owner, and primary resident in the home, by collection three letters of good credit from previous utility companies (gas, electric, water, etc.). The security deposit can be made by: 

  • Phone with a debit/credit card by calling (520) 382-2570;
  • Mailing in a check or money order to 5100 W. Ina Road, Tucson, AZ 85743;
  • Dropping off a payment to either of our payment center locations;
    • 5100 W. Ina Rd (on Ina Rd between I-10 and Silverbell Rd)
    • 11555 W. Civic Center Dr (Barnett Rd and Civic Center Dr).
