Marana Police Officer Brad Clifford received the 2019 MADD Arizona Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award!

Officer Clifford has been with the Marana Police Department for 14 years and has dedicated his career to serving the citizens of Marana. For the last 6 years, Officer Clifford has been the driving force behind the Marana Police Departments DUI enforcement program. Officer Clifford has developed a strong working relationship with the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. He is actively involved with writing, submitting and managing our DUI and Speed enforcement grants. Over the last 6 years, Officer Clifford has scheduled all of the Marana Police Department DUI deployments, as part of the Southern Arizona DUI Task Force.

In addition, Officer Clifford has also developed a strong working relationship with the Pima County Attorney’s Office. Over the last 6 years, Officer Clifford has issued over 100 felony DUI cases to the Pima County Attorney’s Office and Grand Jury. Officer Clifford is actively involved in training new officers at the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy and has taught several DUI and Traffic related courses at several of the Marana Police Department Citizens Academies.
