Marana’s Community Development & Neighborhood Services Department is responsible for the oversight of neighborhood revitalization, owner-occupied housing rehabilitation and Community Development Block Grant programs. CDNS staff works with Marana residents along with the Planning, Public Works, and Parks and Recreation departments to develop programming that responds to the needs of the community and respects the character of existing neighborhoods.
Houses-to-Homes assists qualifying Town residents with repairs and/or replacement of roofing, heating and cooling, weatherization and miscellaneous services such as electrical and plumbing upgrades.
A few of the qualifications for the Program are:
- You must own and live in your home for a minimum of 12 months prior to applying.
- The residence must be located within the Town of Marana incorporated limits.
- Your income must not exceed the limits listed below. (Income from all persons residing in the home must be included)
- This program is for conventional homes and manufactured homes built after 1976 that are affixed to the occupying owner’s property via the Pima County Recorder.
Our funding is limited. Town staff will determine the order in which services are offered based on application date and the seriousness of the home’s condition. In order to be eligible for this program, participants must meet certiain income qualifications:
