Hazard Mitigation Planning
The Town of Marana is participating in the collaborative working group updating the 2017 Pima County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan.
This plan, which was drafted in 2012 and is updated every 5 years, is used to identify risks and vulnerabilities associated with potential disasters and to develop long-term strategies for mitigating these risks in order to protect the people of Tucson.
The public has the opportunity to comment on the current plan, as well as the final draft of the updated plan. The comment period is underway for the current plan.
Comments may be submitted through an electronic form located on the Pima County website.
