Individuals working in the area would help to contribute to the economy. Marana Unified School District employs hundreds of people that would utilize a grocery store -- lunch items or picking up items on their way home after work.
It is my and my family's hope that the land that has been allocated for grocery development be realized and our “community” be more complete in its resources. Anything at all that we can do to expedite this project, we would be happy to be involved in.
I am not inclined to take off the apron and drive 30 minutes to get a spice I’m missing. I’d much rather get out my bike and peddle five minutes to the store.
With a major grocery store and/or pharmacy building out here, comes smaller businesses. It's a win win situation for the Town of Marana and it's residents.
...some of us cannot drive after dark so having something close to us would be so wonderful.
With the need to visit the pharmacy at least once a month, having one much closer would benefit not only us but almost every household in the neighborhood.
If you take into consideration Gladden Farms and its surrounding neighborhoods, also San Lucas, Red Rock, and the communities dotted to the west of us, there are many more households that would be frequenting this store than just the households being viewed as Gladden Farms.
We are excited to see this beautiful community grow. The enticing amenity of local shopping will be embraced by this community and others nearby.
