Development Engineering reviews private development projects and issues grading permits, floodplain permits, and utility installation permits. This also includes the park and road impact fee information and the wayfinding program information.
Traffic Engineering reviews both private development projects and Town projects for traffic-related issues including road capacity/level of service, access management, operational safety and traffic signal warrants.
Capital Improvement Program delivers Town-funded infrastructure. This includes the design and construction of municipal funded projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, and facilities. Capital Improvements also oversees the permitting of improvements in the Town's right of way.
Stormwater Program issues stormwater clearances and performs stormwater inspections for Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs). Stormwater program also includes various outreach activities to the community and schools.
Engineering staff research, acquire, and manage real property rights through the Capital Improvements Program (CIP). Real Property reviews and proccesses land titles, acquisitions, public auction transfers, abandonments, easements and dedications for public rights-of-way, public drainage, easements and other property rights.
Floodplain Management reviews requests for improvements in the floodplain.
